DAWN. BRUSSELS. OCTOBER 12th 1915 (2015)  Choir I SATB/Choir II SATB, Alto Solo, Bb Trumpet, Organ                                           
A setting of words spoken by WWI nurse Edith Cavell on the eve of her execution for treason juxtaposed with those of the German Under Foreign Secretary, using elements of "Abide With Me" and The Last Post. See blog here. First performed by Selwyn College Choir, Cambridge (dir. Sarah MacDonald, cond. Michael Bawtree) St. Bride's, Fleet Street. With thanks to the John Armitage Memorial Trust.

'NON OMNIS MORIAR' (2018) - SSAA (some aleatoric divisi)
Difficulty: Moderate/Advanced Duration c. 5'    
A setting for Upper Voices and Soprano Solo of the incredibly powerful poem by Polish poet Zuzanna Ginczanka, executed as a Jew by the Nazis. First performance by BBC Singers as part of a concert of choral music inspired by refugees, in association with BASCA, St Paul's Knightsbridge 2018.
